We attempted to adapt to the didactics of physics the notions of « semiotic register » and « frame of rationality » that are used in studying conceptualization processes in mathematics. Using Ohm’s law, we conducted a study of this transposition that led to a critical analysis of these notions from a cross-curricular point of view, showing how they are able to work together in an experimental discipline.
