TY - JOUR TI - Différents ordres de représentation des premières notions de géométrie métrique dans l’enseignement secondaire AU - Berté, Annie T2 - Recherches En Didactique Des Mathématiques AB - Until recently, the order of the presentation of the concepts in maths classes had been in accordance with academic orders from the genesis of knowledge through history and culture (phylogenesis). Nowadays, the news maths syl labus gives teachers a certain amount of liberty to take up an order which is perhaps compatible with the genesis of knowledge coming from the lear ner's problematical use of mathematics (ontogenesis). Is not there however a cultural order? If it is not an academic order, what is its legitimation? The discrepancy between the differents orders may be a problem for the teacher to manage during the lessons. We are limiting our study to the teaching of metric geometry's basis. We are giving the reasons why we have made that choice. We are working its mathematic environment out (demonstrations used in teaching, and function of theorem). This analysis with didactical transposition enables us to find out some possible causes of errors pre viously noticed. We are making up a list of the different links found in the setbooks since 1960. The problematisation and mathematic coherency are scarce. As a result, it is up un order and didactical decision to make didactic ingineery. If the teachers picked out this choice, their task would be too heavy and they would be left out of the system.
