TY - JOUR TI - La « théorie des banquets » : une ingénierie didactique pour faciliter l’entrée dans la pensée structuraliste AU - Hausberger, Thomas T2 - Recherches En Didactique Des Mathématiques AB - This article presents parts of a didactical approach to abstract algebra, and more particularly of a the didactics of algebraic structuralism. It reports on original work that has been carried out according to the methodology of didactic engineering, and aims to answer the following research questions: Is it possible to construct a set of situations to facilitate access to structuralist thinking? How to analyse and promote the conceptualisation of an abstract algebraic structure? The theory of banquets (an invented structure) was elaborated and analysed using the Theory of Didactic Situations and an epistemological and semio-cognitive framework dedicated to structuralism: the « objects-structures dialectic ». The results of a classroom experiment are presented and discussed.
